Spring brings out the desire to be outside & for some, it's bicycling.  Tonight's speaker is Bob Loughland & will tell us how to tour Canada by bicycle.

Saturday, June 28, 2008,  9:00am - 5:00pm

This is our big day as we join in the festivities of Smithville's PoultryFest.  Can you believe it?  We celebrate our major industry as this is the land of the chicken barns.  Visit www.poultryfest.ca for full details.  See our Archive page for pictures of last year.As for us, we will have historical displays, displays in the archives, a working model Railroad showing the TH&B railroad that came through this area.  Join us also for our renowned Strawberry Shortcake, and cool off with water or pop sold separately.  Our staff will be in period dress & can answer many local questions.  Come & tour our historic train station, & see what we've accomplished.

Don't forget, the train station is available for renting 10 months of the year.  Contact Jean Acton for booking information.  See the "Executive page" for her phone number.
